About the Instructor

Denise Ellinger, L.Ac.

Having worked in the field of plastic surgery for twenty years both administratively and as a surgical scrub prior to studying Chinese Medicine, Denise has passionately been teaching Cosmetic Acupuncture nationally and internationally since 2003.  She is the Co-Creator of the Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture System™, and currently teaches The ABC’s of Cosmetic Acupuncture. Nationally certified by NCCAOM and licensed in the state of Colorado, Denise received her formal training at the Colorado School for Traditional Chinese Medicine in Denver and is currently an instructor at the school as well as President of the Acupuncture Association of Colorado.

Denise’s training and experience created a unique background for understanding and teaching Cosmetic Acupuncture.  She is able to speak to patients and practitioners from both the Western and Eastern perspectives. Educating acupuncturists and the public that “Beauty is at All Ages” is the impetus behind her teaching.

In creating the “ABC’s of Cosmetic Acupuncture”, Denise has put together a complete TCM based supporting system to give practitioners a solid foundation in understanding and practicing cosmetic acupuncture.
