The ABC’s of Cosmetic Acupuncture (15.5 NCCAOM PDA’s)
The previous courses:
(1) Cosmetic Rejuvenation Acupuncture for the Face and Neck, and
(2) Cosmetic Rejuvenation Acupuncture for the Breasts and Abdomen have been combined into an all-inclusive training called: The ABC’s of Cosmetic Acupuncture.
NCCAOM 15.5 PDA’s. Texas CEU’s still available for Face and Neck or Breasts and Abdomen classes.
You will learn:
- An overview of Cosmetic Acupuncture
- Screening for the appropriate Cosmetic Acupuncture patient including setting realistic expectations and framing the process
- Help your patients make an educated decision – learning the western medicine alternatives
- What to know to get started for success
- Indications and contraindications for the Face, Neck, Breasts and Abdomen protocols
- Diagnosis and Differentiation associated with the protocols
- Needling techniques and prescriptions for the protocols
- Facial diagnosis – Reading the psychological and organ relationships as they appear on the face
- Nutrition – Review of the energetics of food and pairing that information with your facial diagnosis
- Skin health – Structure of the skin from Western and TCM perspectives. Supplements that support skin health and foods that are loaded with these vitamins
- Classic herbal formulae to support your diagnosis and differentiation
- Qi Gong for your patients to do at home
- Marketing your cosmetic practice – a picture is worth a 1000 words!

Interested in a more intensive experience?
Six week training (2 days per week)
- Lecture will cover all of the above subjects.
- Work on three/four patients and go through the complete process start to finish. Participants will get deeper into adjunctive therapies, addressing questions and practical solutions as they present during the course of treatment.
- Feel confident at the end of the process and have the feedback you need to begin your cosmetic practice with experience!
- Upon completion of this intensive training you will be listed in “Find a Practitioner” and announced to the Constant Contact list.
First week: Two days of lecture, patient interviews,
Second through Sixth week: performing protocols start to finish two times a week for five weeks.
